Led by Tate Engineering, the Normandy Drive Halifax project involved the transformation of a historic building that was previously a Nunnery. Martell Mechanical Limited played a crucial role in overcoming architectural challenges on this 30 unit building by closely collaborating with the engineering firm to meet the clients needs. This wood framed building with a classic brick exterior has been renovated into modern one-bedroom suites, each featuring beautiful bathrooms with walk in showers.

We were responsible for the installation of individual HRV’s (Heat Recovery Ventilators) and Innova wall mounted heat pumps in each unit, ensuring optimal air quality and energy efficiency for residents. Our teams dedication to quality and adaptability in this project highlights our commitment to delivering exceptional mechanical solutions while preserving the buildings historical significance.
